Pelvic Floor Dysfunction is NOT a Life Sentence

Public speaking was never my thing. I would literally be breathless at the end of every grad school presentation because I talked so fast; I just wanted to get it over with.

Fast forward to 2020: I knew

  • Women were being undereducated.

  • Women were being forced to settle for less-than lives because of the lack of information being given to them in regard to their bodies.

  • Women needed to know there is a conservative approach to getting a better quality of life rather than just masking symptoms.

 

Women needed to hear me.

 

I knew I had to do something, and that involved speaking to groups of women.

 

I was tired of the shame that they

were made to feel, forcing them to

neglect their bodies, as well as their

emotional and sexual health.

I began speaking in several counties around NY and CT to women who

  • were being told that what they were experiencing was normal, when in fact their issues are COMMON and definitely NOT normal.

  • were not being given any other remedies beyond quick fixes, meds, and the option for surgery.

  • were not being told that there IS a better way to get to the root of their issues and finally address the cause, not just the symptoms.

Getting the word out was great, but, again, I knew I needed to take this to a whole other level.

Ladies, I am SO excited to announce my new series, Pelvic Pride!

I am revamping my pelvic floor

tour and making it more robust,

more customized, and way more

personal.

 

This is for any woman who feels like she has not been heard. Who wants better answers, and even better solutions, to what she is experiencing in her body. Who is tired of being told that because she had so many kids or because she is of a certain age that it just "is what it is" and she has to deal with it for the rest of her life.

The first course, Pelvic Pride: Urinary Incontinence, will begin July 6. Here, we are discussing why you may be peeing your pants when you sneeze, laugh, cough, exercise...and what you can finally do about it! Think kegels are the shit? You may be doing them wrong. Think wearing pads and black leggings are the only "solutions?" Think again! Ladies, peeing your pants is not normal, it is just very common: whether you're 28 or 88, whether you've had 100 or 0 kids. Let's get down to why this is happening to you and how we can change it!

With this course, you will get:

💜4 weeks worth of modules. These will cover what you are experiencing, why it may be happening, and what you can start working on NOW to combat it.

💜Action steps each week that are easy to implement and won't kill all of your free time.

💜Weekly group calls where you can ask me any questions you may have.

💜A workbook that outlines what you should be working on and quick info refreshers for each week.

💜Exclusive access to a community of women who are experiencing the same issues you are, as well as a place where we can brainstorm, motivate, and encourage each other during this journey. You will also get access to me here if any questions fall outside of the group calls!

Who is this not for?

😱Women who are judgey. Listen, pelvic floor-related topics are extremely personal. Especially since this has a group component, if I catch wind that you are making fun of someone, spewing hate, or being flat-out ignorant to others (myself included), you WILL be kicked out. No refunds. I have a zero-tolerance policy for bigotry, hate, and just plain assholery in my life and in my courses.

😱Women who are not serious about getting better. Ladies, there is a lot of work involved here! I need your commitment in doing it, otherwise we will be wasting each other's time.

😱Women who expect instant results. Improving your health is a marathon, not a sprint. And if you've been dealing with an issue for awhile, most likely you're not going to be magically cured in 4 weeks. What you WILL have is many tools in a toolbox to get you closer to your goals. I will teach you what to look for throughout the process, and how to gear this toward YOUR specific needs. If you need further, more individualized assistance anytime after the conclusion of the course, I will be here to help you whether that be through 1:1 sessions with me (if you're a NY or CT resident) or another provider to whom I can refer you.
